Electrical Engineering Intern
About The Position
DwyerOmega is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for its Lake Shore Cryotronics Instruments products for Summer 2027. The intern will be matched with a mentor and contribute to the development of precision instrumentation through real-world projects in office and laboratory settings. The position is based on-site in Westerville, Ohio, and runs full-time from May through August 2027. The work includes improving analog and digital circuitry, handling and analyzing high-volume data from advanced systems, researching emerging materials and electronics, and evaluating semiconductors and quantum materials with advanced tools. The intern will also support cross-functional engineering teams. The role involves professional office and laboratory environments, with laboratory activities potentially requiring personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance technical workflows.
- Familiarity with PCB design, simulation software, and firmware development; C or Python preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
