AECI’s Thomas Hill Power Plant is seeking dedicated applicants for an Electrical Engineering internship during the summer of 2027.
Requirements
- Current students enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field with at least two years completed toward a bachelor’s degree.
- Coursework in Circuit Theory is a must.
- Strong attendance and punctuality are essential.
Nice To Haves
- Logic Design coursework is a bonus.
- Experience with relevant engineering software and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Write bid specifications, evaluate construction bids, and support electrical maintenance and improvement projects.
- Contribute to plant relay upgrades, arc flash compliance, and electronic database development.
- Assist with documentation, programming, and maintenance of controls and PLC systems, as well as predictive maintenance plans.
