Electrical Engineering Intern
About The Position
The Electrical Engineering Intern will join GHD’s Design & Delivery Organization for the upcoming summer, assisting Engineers and Project Managers with a variety of tasks focused on Power System projects. The position follows a hybrid workplace model, with three days per week in the office. The role involves supporting engineering evaluations and studies, gathering and compiling data, assisting with CADD drawings, developing facilities layouts, schematics and schedules, preparing design calculations, and conducting cost estimates. The intern will work with an energetic, high-performing team and apply engineering theory in a practical setting.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting.
- Ability to manage several tasks at once and determine priorities.
Nice To Haves
- AutoCAD skills.
