About The Position

Parsons is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support its Critical Infrastructure team. The intern assists engineers with technical work, troubleshooting, research, and project support while collaborating with engineers, designers, stakeholders, partners, and customers. The role also supports documentation and quality assurance activities. The team plans, designs, builds, and modernizes infrastructure intended to connect and protect communities and promote economic growth, mobility, sustainability, and resiliency.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an Engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university.
• Typically have completed at least one year of studies in a major Engineering discipline, such as Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Typical experience: 0+ years.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with technical tasks, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to achieve project goals.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and manuals.
• Assist with project support tasks, including scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conduct research to support engineering projects and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
• Participate in quality assurance processes, including inspections and audits.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
