About The Position

HDR is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The intern will gain real-world experience working on projects, apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, and complete assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. The role may involve occasional travel to project sites to investigate existing conditions or conduct project inspections, along with other duties as needed. Interns can connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to actively participating in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably have completed two years toward the degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
• Local candidates preferred.
• Enrollment in an electrical engineering program.
