About The Position
Nova-Tech Engineering is offering full-time, paid Co-Op opportunities for students pursuing Electrical Engineering degrees. This program is designed for students entering their Junior or Senior year of college and will run from January 2027 through August 2027 or May 2027 through December 2027. The Co-Ops will be located onsite in Willmar, MN. The program aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience, allowing students to build working relationships, identify areas for professional development, understand product development processes, learn task prioritization, gain insight into specific Electrical Engineering disciplines, and experience an Agile Scrum framework.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree.
- Entering Junior or Senior year of college.
- Available for a 6-9 month Co-Op program.
- Available from January 2027 through August 2027 or May 2027 through December 2027.
Responsibilities
- Build successful working relationships with members of a cross-functional team.
- Identify areas for professional development outside of core Electrical Engineering curriculum.
- Develop a general understanding of the various roles, processes, and procedures that support product development within an Electrical Engineering Group.
- With direction from the Product Owner and team, learn how to prioritize many competing tasks and project responsibilities to meet objectives on-time.
- Develop understanding of specific areas of skill and disciplines of interest within Electrical Engineering.
- Learn how to use an Agile Scrum framework to get work done in a collaborative team.
