About The Position

SSOE is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-Op for a Spring 2027 rotation based in its Toledo, Ohio office. This is an onsite, full-time co-op requiring daily presence at the Toledo office; remote and hybrid arrangements are not available. Co-op team members will receive training on Microsoft Copilot and are encouraged to use it as a core tool in their everyday work. The role performs assigned tasks under close supervision and receives specific, detailed instruction while learning department standards, methods, and procedures relevant to the student’s field of study.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a four-year Electrical Engineering degree program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and use of REVIT, AutoCAD, or 3D packages; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks under the close supervision of the Department Manager or designee, following specific and detailed instructions.
• Learn and use department standards, methods, and procedures relevant to the field of study.
• Meet deadlines for daily duties and special projects as assigned by the Department Manager or designee.
• Travel occasionally, if required.
