About The Position

Ingevity’s Engineering Co-op program gives students the opportunity to apply problem-solving and technical skills in manufacturing environments to improve safety, efficiency, reliability, and productivity. Co-ops work on value-added projects supporting production and project engineering throughout a plant, with safety and teamwork central to process improvement and troubleshooting. The program consists of three rotations, typically averaging three to six months per term. Co-op terms are generally separated by an academic term so participants can apply engineering concepts in both academic and workplace settings. Candidates should be available for multiple terms and consult their academic advisor about program participation. This opening is for the Spring 2027 co-op at Ingevity’s Waynesboro site, with an anticipated start in January 2027.
