About The Position

Ingevity’s Engineering Co-op program offers students hands-on experience applying problem-solving and technical skills to improve safety, efficiency, reliability, and productivity in manufacturing environments. Co-ops work on value-added projects supporting production and project engineering across a plant, while collaborating on process improvements and troubleshooting. Safety and teamwork are key aspects of the role. The program is structured around three rotations, averaging three to six months per term. Co-op terms are typically separated by an academic term so participants can apply engineering concepts in both academic and workplace settings. Candidates should be available for multiple terms and consult their academic advisor about participation.
