About The Position

SSOE is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-Op for a Spring 2027 rotation in Toledo, Ohio. This is a full-time, onsite co-op requiring daily presence at the Toledo office; remote and hybrid arrangements are not available. The co-op performs assigned work under close supervision and receives specific, detailed instructions while learning department standards, methods, and procedures. The role may require occasional travel. The stated salary range is $20–$23 per hour, depending on the student’s year in school.

SSOE provides access to industry-leading AI large language models and vibe-coding platforms, with training and support to use these tools to improve productivity, creativity, and complex workflows.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a four-year Electrical Engineering degree program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and use of REVIT, AutoCAD, or 3D packages; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks under the close supervision of the Department Manager or designee, following specific and detailed instructions.
• Learn and use department standards, methods, and procedures relevant to the field of study.
• Meet deadlines for daily duties and special projects as assigned by the Department Manager or designee.
• Travel occasionally if required.
