Requirements

• Obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be a maximum of 24 months away from graduation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Completing an assigned engineering project during the term of the internship
• Troubleshooting electrical manufacturing equipment
• Contributing to several ongoing capital engineering projects in diverse areas of the plant
• Gaining experience and exposure to the Project Management Life Cycle, including: Preparation of project specifications and requirements, Project schedule coordination and utilization of Project Management tools, Installation oversight, project closing activities, and sustainability initiatives
• Gaining experience and exposure to: Large scale manufacturing facility and equipment and safe working practices, Capital engineering projects taking place within varied areas of the plant, Equipment Reliability to include asset management, process improvement, capital management and execution, contractor integration and management, and development of machine maintenance best practices (PM, PdM, etc.)
