About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a dynamic and innovative Electrical Designer for their Burlington office. This role involves 0-3 years of experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems and lighting for educational, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, eager to collaborate with a multidiscipline engineering team, and possess a willingness to have fun. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems and lighting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD versions 2010 - 2019.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from a certified CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in 3D design software, Autodesk Revit.
- Proficiency in Intergraph CADWorx.
Responsibilities
- Design and drafting of electrical systems and lighting for educational, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities.
- Design and drawing package development on multidiscipline projects.
- Setting up new projects utilizing the AutoCAD sheet set manager, template files, dynamic referencing, and coordinated X-refs.
- Coordinating with clients and outside design team members on drafting standards and file exchanges.
