About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a dynamic and innovative Electrical Designer for their Burlington office. This role involves the design and drafting of electrical systems and lighting for educational, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience, be enthusiastic, possess a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems and lighting for educational, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD versions 2010 -2019.
- Proficiency in 3D design software.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from a certified CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field.
- Autodesk Revit (preferred).
- Intergraph CADWorx a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and drafting of electrical systems and lighting for educational, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities.
- Design and drawing package development on multidiscipline projects.
- Setting up new projects utilizing the AutoCAD sheet set manager, template files, dynamic referencing, and coordinated X-refs.
- Coordinating with clients and outside design team members on drafting standards and file exchanges.
