WHAT YOU’LL DO As an experienced Electrical Designer, you will support the design and documentation of electrical systems for building projects.

Requirements

  • Associate or technical degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years electrical design experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD and current electrical engineering software (e.g., Visual Lighting, AGI 32, SKM PowerTools, Lightstanza).
  • Ability to apply national, state and local codes including NFPA (including NFPA 70 (NEC)), ASHRAE and IECC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • U.S. citizenship or valid Green Card.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of MicroStation, Smartsheet, Unanet CRM by Cosential, and Deltek Ajera software is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain skill levels within the changing technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design power, lighting, fire alarm, and low‑voltage systems
  • Prepare drawings using mostly Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Maintain drawings and documentation per company standards
  • Coordinate with project teams and other disciplines
  • Incorporate addenda, RFIs, and approved changes
  • Communicate project status regularly
  • Attend project meetings and site visits
  • Support BIM setup and troubleshooting
