About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Tech. to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality, safe battery systems for marine applications.
The Electrical Assembly Tech. is responsible for the assembly, testing and support of electrical and battery system components within a production environment. The role involves hands-on manufacturing tasks, quality checks, fault-finding, and collaboration with engineering, test and quality teams to ensure products meet design and safety requirements for marine use.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus relevant vocational or technical certification, or equivalent experience in electrical assembly.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in electrical assembly, manufacturing or a related role.
• Competent with hand tools, soldering, crimping tools, cable management and basic test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope).
• Ability to interpret drawings and work instructions accurately and brings strong fault-finding skills to resolve issues with engineering.
• Understanding of electrical safety, PPE and safe handling of batteries and high-voltage components.
• Basic computer literacy for recording test data and using production documentation systems.
• Communicates well and collaborates across production, test and engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

• Battery systems, power electronics or wiring harness experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IPC soldering standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical subassemblies, modules and complete battery units following engineering drawings and work instructions; prepare, terminate and harness cables to spec.
• Run electrical and functional tests (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, battery test rigs) and record results.
• Inspect components and assemblies for quality, diagnose and fix manufacturing faults, and escalate complex or recurring issues to senior technicians or engineering.
• Follow build, test and quality procedures; keep accurate build, test and non-conformance records; flag opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Work safely with electrical systems and batteries, following safety rules, risk assessments and PPE requirements.
