About The Position

3M is seeking Assembly Technician candidates in Clarkston, Georgia! This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As an Assembly Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by assembling/packaging manufactured products in accordance to applicable procedures, accurately recording production data, performing all casting and impregnation production processes including casting, drying, sintering, and impregnating radomes, operating equipment such as furnaces, forklifts, presses, pallet movers, and other heavy equipment, and identifying problems and working with process engineers through to resolution.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

Minimum six (6) months of previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Assemble/package manufactured products in accordance to applicable procedures
Accurately record production data
Performing all casting and impregnation production processes including casting, drying, sintering, and impregnating radomes
Operating equipment such as furnaces, forklifts, presses, pallet movers, and other heavy equipment
Identifying problems and working with process engineers through to resolution
Corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
