About The Position

The 3rd–4th Year Electrical Apprentice field technician works with and learns from Journeyman Electricians and other apprentices. The apprentice is taught practical skills and learns to test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices. Candidates must live in or near Williston, North Dakota. The stated pay rate is $24–$36 per hour, with a per diem of $75 per day. The start date is November 2, 2026.

Requirements

Completed 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice experience or schooling.
Standard First Aid/CPR with AED; H2S Alive, CSO, and CSTS.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and alcohol test for safety-sensitive roles.
Completion of a criminal background check, with results assessed based on relevance to the position.
A clean driving record according to Control Tech standards, such as no major violations and no more than 3 infractions in the past 5 years.
Must live in or near Williston, North Dakota.

Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications.
Pull wire through conduits and holes; splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits.
Assist with installing, replacing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
Participate in and comply with company safety programs and policies.
Provide on-call support as required.
Perform other duties as required.
