About The Position

This role involves performing electrical installations, including running various types of conduit (EMT, PVC, IMC). The apprentice will be expected to understand and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes. A high level of installation quality and self-discipline, including time management and the ability to work independently after instruction, is crucial. The position requires basic knowledge of control submittals, MEP drawings, mechanical systems, and electrical materials, including control wiring and miscellaneous items like bridal rings and J-hooks.

Requirements

3 years of Electrical experience (Required)
TDLR License/Certification (Required)
Ability to commute to Childress, TX (Required)

Nice To Haves

1 year of Conduit Bending experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Run ½ to 2 EMT, PVC, IMC, conduits.
Understand and apply the NEC and local codes.
Demonstrate discipline and trustworthiness when working independently.
Practice effective time management, including punctuality and adherence to break/lunch schedules.
Maintain a high standard of personal conduct and work quality.
Understand the basic concept of Control submittals and MEP drawings.
Possess basic knowledge of the mechanical system.
Possess knowledge of basic electrical material.
Possess knowledge of basic control wire and misc. material, i.e. bridal rings, J-hooks, etc.
Continuously display a high level of installation quality.
