About The Position
A plaintiff-side law firm is hiring a Litigation Paralegal to support its elder abuse practice from intake through trial. The role includes assisting attorneys with case preparation and coordinating case materials, records, communications, and court deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Working knowledge of California court procedures and e-filing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in elder abuse, medical negligence, wrongful death, or personal injury.
- Bilingual Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys on cases from intake through trial.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and demand packages.
- Build exhibit, mediation, and trial binders.
- Summarize medical, facility, and deposition records.
- Coordinate with providers, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Calendar court deadlines.
