About The Position

Under the general guidance of physicians and providers, the EKG Technician performs EKG procedures. The role receives patients, explains the procedure, and helps ensure patients are comfortable. It provides patient services to people of all ages using imaging modalities. The posting also describes operating ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. The technician maintains equipment and supplies, organizes the work area, keeps accurate records, assists with ultrasound scheduling, and helps maintain smooth patient flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
