About The Position

The EKG Technician performs all types of EKGs and manages EKG editing, storage, and retrieval through the appropriate computer system. The role also assists with the Allied Health Department’s charging process and works with patients, visitors, and other Care Team members while maintaining emotional control.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with various types of EKGs.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize the effects of various conditions and ages on EKG interpretation.
• Previous healthcare experience.

Nice To Haves

• Some computer skills.
• Some experience performing EKGs.
