About The Position

This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring Health & Safety policies, conducting audits, reporting and investigating incidents, completing operational checks, supporting stock loss prevention, managing POS and maintenance requests, and ensuring high store standards and safe working practices. The position also involves managing cash handling operations, monitoring petty cash, stabilizing tills, identifying and reporting discrepancies, and preparing tills for the following day. Additionally, the role requires leading, coaching, and supporting team members, ensuring training and compliance requirements are met, and assisting with customer queries while maintaining a clean and well-presented store.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in handling cash procedures
• Retail experience
• Detailed oriented
• Honest
• Strong communicator who can also listen, share ideas and get involved where needed
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Team player with high levels of motivation, a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and risk assessments
• Conduct audits, checks, and fire drills
• Report and investigate incidents, driving preventative actions
• Complete operational checks and support stock loss prevention
• Manage POS, maintenance requests, and third-party relationships
• Ensure high store standards and safe working practices
• Efficiently and accurately managing cash handling operations
• Monitoring petty cash and stabilizing tills (registers)
• Identifying and reporting till discrepancies
• Preparing tills for the following day
• Lead, coach, and support team members
• Ensure training and compliance requirements are met
• Assist with customer queries and maintain a clean, well-presented store
