About The Position

This position is within the EH&S department and is classified as Non-Salary Non-Exempt. The role involves maintaining confidentiality of medical records and employee health information, coordinating annual testing schedules for OSHA mandated medical surveillance programs, and providing administrative support to medical department staff. The EH&S Tech will also assist with injury intake and first-aid, maintain medical supply inventory, and coordinate clinic appointments. Ensuring proper documentation for medical surveillance programs, communicating discrepancies with the staff nurse, and compiling/entering data into an electronic system are key responsibilities. The role also includes performing occupational medical surveillance, conducting inspections and audits, and transporting waste material. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Manager, and maintaining First Aid/CPR certification is required.

  • Understanding of warehouse receiving process, component storage process, material ordering, and the material movement.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal training in occupational health and safety is preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience with health and safety programs and associated regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities
