About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with environmental and wastewater regulations within manufacturing operations. The role promotes sustainable practices, maintains safety standards, and fosters environmental responsibility across the organization. The successful candidate will bring experience in occupational health, environmental laws, safety protocols, and wastewater operations, and will lead initiatives to safeguard the environment and workplace while supporting continuous improvement through proactive management of environmental health risks.

Requirements

• Two years of environmental experience.
• Knowledge of wastewater operations, EPA regulations, OSHA standards, occupational health principles, and workers’ compensation law.
• Training and development skills to educate employees on safety procedures and environmental policies.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable operational procedures.
• Familiarity with EHS systems, wastewater operations, and best practices for industrial settings.

Nice To Haves

• Massachusetts Class 4-I wastewater license.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor environmental policies and procedures aligned with EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential environmental hazards and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, to address environmental or safety issues.
• Prepare reports on environmental performance, incidents, and compliance status for management review.
• Oversee training and development programs on occupational health, safety protocols, and environmental awareness.
• Manage adherence to workers’ compensation law and coordinate reporting and documentation with relevant departments.
• Stay updated on environmental legislation, including EPA regulations and OSHA standards, to ensure ongoing compliance.
