About The Position

The Egg Room Supervisor works in the Peco Hatchery and oversees egg inventory and handling. The role includes placing eggs in setter buggies and incubators, maintaining a clean and disinfected egg room, monitoring hallways and machines, and keeping daily records of egg sets. The position works in a controlled environment. The schedule is Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school education or GED.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to walk or stand for the majority of the shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to manage paperwork and maintain inventory.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee egg inventory and place eggs in setter buggies.
• Place eggs in incubators.
• Ensure the egg room is clean and disinfected.
