About The Position
The Maple Shade School District is seeking an anticipated part-time Educational Assistant at Howard R. Yocum Elementary School. The district is committed to culturally responsive education that promotes equitable outcomes in academic achievement, personal development, and preparation for education and work after high school. It also aims to diversify its school community and foster a culture in which students, staff, and community partners feel supported in reaching their full potential. The position is anticipated to be available in November 2026. Salary is as per the MSEA Contract.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an elementary school.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to pass a Criminal History Review.
