About The Position

TAFE NSW is seeking casual Education Support Officers to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students across all courses at various campus locations including Boggabilla, Bourke, Brewarrina, Menindee, Nyngan, Warren, and Wilcannia. This role provides general education support, focusing on ensuring students feel valued and equipped for success. Responsibilities include assisting students with technology, accessing resources, and progressing in their studies, while fostering an inclusive atmosphere. This is a campus-based role that cannot be performed remotely and does not involve teaching, lesson preparation, resource creation, training delivery, or assessment.

Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Experience providing support in dynamic environments, adapting quickly and responding to changing needs.
Proficient using a range of technology.
Ability to confidently support students with Microsoft Office and other programs.
Capability to troubleshoot and learn new tools as needed.
Hold a vocational qualification at Certificate III level or higher in any discipline.
Adaptability, initiative, and ability to motivate and encourage learners.
Must hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing.
Must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.

Provide ongoing education support and pastoral care throughout their learning journey.
Help students navigate technology.
Assist students in accessing resources.
