About The Position

The N Brand Agency, a division of Nekia Nichelle, LLC, is a luxe media and marketing agency helping brands show up polished, positioned, and ready for the rooms they want to enter. Through strategic media placements, editorial visibility, broadcast opportunities, production, and AI-era authority building, we help brands move beyond basic exposure and into intentional recognition. This 6-month internship is designed for serious, reliable, and creatively sharp individuals who are ready to grow inside a luxe media and marketing agency environment. We are building future Copywriters, Brand Strategists, Campaign Writers, and Marketing Leads — not short-term contributors. Culture matters here. This is a 6-month, unpaid internship designed for academic credit and/or professional development. This role supports editorial copy across our internal brand pods, helping create content that drives authority, engagement, and visibility across our websites. You will be writing about media, marketing, branding, digital trends, visibility, business growth, and content strategy. We don't just post content — we shape conversations. Interns may support copy for: The N Brand blog content, N Media Institute content, Nekia Nichelle brand content, Marketing and thought leadership articles, Website copy and campaign messaging, Brand campaigns, Content that supports authority, engagement, and brand visibility. You will work alongside leadership and receive feedback to strengthen your writing, positioning, tone, and execution. Weekly meetings are required on Mondays and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in copywriting, marketing, editorial, or digital content
  • Strong writing samples or portfolio required
  • Understanding of branding, messaging, and audience positioning
  • Ability to write in different tones while maintaining brand alignment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized and responsive
  • Able to commit to the full 6-month term

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, compelling, brand-aligned copy
  • Support campaign messaging, pitch materials, and client-facing content
  • Draft captions, email copy, blog content, and promotional messaging
  • Help refine brand voice, positioning, and storytelling across projects
  • Repurpose existing content into polished marketing copy
  • Research trends, industries, competitors, and audience insights
  • Collaborate with social, editorial, PR, and agency team members
  • Participate in weekly mandatory Monday team meetings
