About The Position

Amyx, Inc. is seeking an eDiscovery Analyst to support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Office of General Counsel (OGC) eDiscovery team. The role involves supporting the SEC's goals of detecting violations, fostering compliance, monitoring risk, and implementing rules and laws. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring strong customer service skills with SEC and Contractor staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, or other field related to work.
  • Favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation.
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of eDiscovery experience.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery collections tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Enterprise Vault) to collect and send data to processing/review platforms.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery processing tools to process data for litigation databases in support of various review platforms.
  • Vast knowledge of quality control workflows and proper eDiscovery processing and preservation techniques.
  • Superior time management and production processing multitasking techniques.
  • Familiarity with customer service level agreements and processing demands.
  • Strong knowledge of data triage and strong problem-solving skills, from reconciling individual file processing issues (e.g., PSTs, Microsoft Office Documents, PDFs) to troubleshooting SEC’s various processing and review platforms.
  • Knowledge of reporting techniques to submit production and project reports.
  • Strong project logging skills.
  • Effective communicator to the client in email and verbally.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
  • Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS).
  • eDiscovery Review Platform Certification (e.g., Casepoint, RCA, Recommind Axcelerate Processing, Nuix).
  • Experience with collections tools like Microsoft Purview, Enterprise Vault, Harvester, SharePoint Collector.
  • Experience with Casepoint.
  • Experience with Information Systems.
  • Prior federal services environment consulting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Processing inbound document productions and applying quality control measures within program-defined service level agreements.
  • Planning and implementing eDiscovery solutions using SEC standard operating procedures.
  • Leading, coordinating, and supporting team members to ensure processing projects are completed within Service Level Agreement guidelines.
  • Presenting project completion reports to government stakeholders and supervisors.
  • Communicating accurate information effectively.
  • Conducting quality reviews of data within each database after processing to ensure data integrity and project reconciliation prior to submission to the government.
  • Ensuring productions are submitted on time in accordance with government set timelines.
  • Corresponding with customer service level agreements and processing demands.
  • Troubleshooting SEC’s various processing and review platforms as issues are presented and encountered.
  • Submitting production and project reports (as needed) to government leads.
  • Recording all task details from project receipt to maintain chain of custody, including all processing attributes (errors, exceptions, bates ranges, file counts etc.).
  • Effectively communicating with the client via email and verbally to escalate problematic productions or issues encountered during processing and upload within SEC environments.
