About The Position

DentalWorks Offices is hiring for a dental office role described in the posting as a Floor Supervisor. The position supervises back-office staff and supports patient management, scheduling and patient flow, office sterilization, regulatory compliance, inspections, supplies and records. The role also leads and motivates the back-office team, participates in operational meetings, and prioritizes the Ultimate Patient Experience. Requirements

Experience supervising a team of 8–12 team members, with the ability to demonstrate authority, delegate responsibility, and hold a team accountable.
Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA, and safety compliance.
Current X-Ray License, or an agreement to obtain the license within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

Supervise back-office staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and accountability.
Participate in hiring, selection, and retention of back-office staff.
Manage patients in partnership with dentists, provide appropriate pre- and post-treatment instructions, and ensure patient satisfaction.
Monitor patient flow by reviewing the sign-in sheet and appointment book and adjusting the schedule as needed.
Ensure sterilization of the office and equipment.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, Dental Board, and corporate policies and procedures.
Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections.
Maintain dental supplies and inventory, and stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, and the lab as needed.
Maintain proper patient treatment records.
Lead, inspire, and motivate back-office staff.
Participate in monthly operational meetings.
Prioritize the Ultimate Patient Experience (UPE).
