About The Position

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Greeley, Colorado, is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients, with a focus on underserved children. The role includes patient and parent education, maintaining accurate records, sterilizing instruments, and keeping the practice clean and presentable. Requirements

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements.
• Active EDDA/EFDA certification or registration.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly, outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multitask and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works.
• Previous experience working in a dental office.

Responsibilities

• Build friendly relationships with patients and parents and educate them about good oral health.
• Organize and sterilize dental instruments and workstations in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Provide clear, effective, and encouraging oral hygiene instructions.
• Collect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient records.
• Keep the practice clean and presentable, including cleaning restrooms and the patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Perform other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.
