About The Position
The ED Tech assists medical and nursing staff with the care and treatment of emergency adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role also performs general clerical reception duties as needed. The position works 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with weekends required on a rotating basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED), or post-secondary education.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as an Emergency Department Technician.
- An additional life support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
