About The Position
An ED tech is a healthcare professional who assists emergency room doctors and nurses in delivering medical care. ED techs help keep the emergency room clean and organized and assist with basic patient care. The position requires willingness to cross train as a Unit Secretary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited school.
- Certificate from an Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Willingness to cross train as a Unit Secretary.
- Previous experience working as an EMT-B or CNA.
- Experience starting IVs.
- Computer experience.
- Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
