About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a full-time, night-shift ED Tech at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role supports patient care in a critical care setting by performing patient-care procedures, assisting professional staff, monitoring and documenting patient information, operating specialized equipment, maintaining a clean and stocked unit, and potentially retrieving and transporting medications. Requirements

Hold an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), NREMT (Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician), or AUA (Advanced Unlicensed Assistant) credential, or have completed Armed Services Medic Training/Certification.
Hold BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) issued by either organization, within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in an acute care or pre-hospital EMS setting, including venipuncture skills and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Administer a variety of patient care and special procedures using the skills and training unique to the unit.
Assist professional staff with sterile procedures.
Perform patient rounds and report or document information for professional staff and the chart, including vital signs, patient condition, and transports to and from the unit.
Operate specialized equipment requiring knowledge, skills, and training unique to critical care units.
Maintain a clean unit, including daily cleaning of carriers with disinfectant, daily cleaning and stocking of exam rooms, and emptying or stocking linens as needed during the shift.
Retrieve and transport medications as needed.
