About The Position

We are looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to help ensure a smooth and positive online shopping experience for our customers. You will assist with customer service, website merchandising, and general ecommerce administration, gaining hands-on exposure to how online retail operations function behind the scenes. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn the fundamentals of ecommerce while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in ecommerce, retail, customer service, or administrative support.
Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or similar systems, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital systems.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Self-motivated with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in retail, fashion, beauty, or consumer products is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via email and other support channels in a professional and timely manner.
Assist customers with order inquiries, product questions, shipping updates, returns, and exchanges.
Escalate complex cases or sensitive issues to senior team members when necessary.
Help maintain a high standard of customer experience for our online shoppers.
Assist with product uploads and updates, including product descriptions, pricing, images, and availability.
Support merchandising updates for new launches, promotions, and campaigns.
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date product information and website content across the ecommerce website.
Assist with general administrative tasks that support ecommerce operations.
Maintain organized records related to orders, product information, and customer inquiries.
Support data entry, reporting, and basic analysis related to ecommerce performance.
