About The Position

We are looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to help ensure a smooth and positive online shopping experience for our customers. You will assist with customer service, website merchandising, and general ecommerce administration, gaining hands-on exposure to how online retail operations function behind the scenes. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn the fundamentals of ecommerce while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in ecommerce, retail, customer service, or administrative support.
  • Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or similar systems, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in retail, fashion, beauty, or consumer products is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and other support channels in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist customers with order inquiries, product questions, shipping updates, returns, and exchanges.
  • Escalate complex cases or sensitive issues to senior team members when necessary.
  • Help maintain a high standard of customer experience for our online shoppers.
  • Assist with product uploads and updates, including product descriptions, pricing, images, and availability.
  • Support merchandising updates for new launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date product information and website content across the ecommerce website.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks that support ecommerce operations.
  • Maintain organized records related to orders, product information, and customer inquiries.
  • Support data entry, reporting, and basic analysis related to ecommerce performance.
