About The Position

The Ecoflex Line Operator safely operates the EcoFlex and pre-insulated line, including a screw extruder, corrugator, foam folders, and auxiliary equipment. The role is responsible for maintenance, production processes, and quality standards associated with EcoFlex production. It requires communication and collaboration with coworkers, including coordinating material orders and deliveries. The operator prioritizes daily activities, supports the team's and business's objectives, models Uponor values, and contributes to team initiatives. In conjunction with leadership, the role provides input on individual performance objectives aligned with functional and business strategy.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Fork truck certification.
Right to Know certificates.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with others.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of preferred manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the EcoFlex line and auxiliary equipment.
Perform required maintenance, including changeovers.
Maintain accurate production paperwork and communicate with the Supervisor.
Maintain production quality standards and perform all tasks safely.
Change belts, folders, corrugate blocks, materials, and coils as required.
Schedule raw-material deliveries and maintain inventory.
Package finished coils as required.
Keep tools and equipment in designated areas and maintain the work area using 5S practices.
Prioritize daily activities and delegate or coordinate individual and team actions to support business strategy.
Collaborate effectively with diverse audiences, model Uponor values and behaviors, and contribute proactively to team initiatives.
Provide input, in conjunction with leadership, on individual performance objectives aligned with functional and business strategy.
