About The Position

The ECO Inspector checks ECO process rework to ensure it complies with requirements. The role inspects solder rework and motherboards, verifies engineering rework and labeling, and ensures the motherboard is clean before it moves to the next station. The inspector meets operational KPIs, submits a KPI report by the end of the workday, maintains daily ESD audit records, follows 5S standards, and uses work time efficiently. Assignments may change based on project needs and may include inspection, testing, or data input.

Requirements

Understanding of solder quality.
Physical ability to lift at least 10 pounds and to stand consistently for 8 hours; ability to push, pull, twist, and lift containers or boxes weighing at least 10 pounds.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Knowledge of using MS Excel to read instructions.
Attention to detail.
Customer-service focus and ability to work as a team player.
Demonstrated ability to read and follow written instructions.
Good attendance and willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Inspect solder rework according to rework and repair requirements.
Inspect for CID and check for excessive flux residue or solder; clean the motherboard as needed.
Check for cold solder joints, short solder pads, solder bridges, shifted pads and pins, and correct polarity.
Verify engineering rework is updated to the required level and revision.
Verify labels are correct and ensure the motherboard is clean before it moves to the next station.
Meet or exceed KPIs defined for business and operational requirements.
Submit KPI reports on time at the end of the working day.
Conduct and maintain records for daily ESD audits.
Follow 5S standards and use company time efficiently, including returning punctually from breaks and personal matters.
Perform other project-based assignments as needed, including inspection, testing, or data input.
