About The Position

Join our dynamic cardiology team as an Echocardiogram Technician and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day. We're seeking a skilled and compassionate cardiac imaging professional to deliver exceptional diagnostic care using state-of-the-art ultrasound technology. In this role, you'll perform both routine and complex cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision, directly contributing to accurate diagnoses and improved patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program (CAAHEP-approved or CMA-approved)
  • Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification
  • 2–4 years of echocardiography experience
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety practices and emergency protocols
  • Proficiency with ultrasound systems and imaging technologies
  • Ability to follow detailed examination protocols with precision and accuracy
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional communication abilities

Nice To Haves

  • EKG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition experience
  • Experience with advanced cardiac imaging techniques
  • Familiarity with NextGen EHR systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures using advanced techniques consistent with clinical protocols and ultrasound safety best practices
  • Triage patients appropriately according to acuity level, verify patient identification, review orders for appropriateness, and document relevant clinical history
  • Acquire and submit precise, comprehensive exam images with detailed worksheets and templates for physician interpretation
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records in NextGen (EHR), ICAEL Logbook, and laboratory databases to support accreditation standards
  • Demonstrate consistent adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Maintain current professional credentials (RDCS or RCS) and fulfill continuing education requirements to support laboratory accreditation
  • Contribute to department excellence and team success through collaborative teamwork and additional responsibilities as needed
