About The Position

Performs and interprets preliminary non-invasive cardiac studies. This includes but not limited to 2D and M Mode echocardiography, stress echocardiography and other outpatient services as needed. Responsible for preparing and interpreting quality studies for physicians. Performs all outpatient cardiac testing as ordered by the medical staff, non-invasive vascular monitoring, stress echocardiography and assists with TEE.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 3 years experience in echocardiogram technician position and/or related experience Required
• Reg Cardiac Sonographer Required or Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer Required

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets preliminary non-invasive cardiac studies.
• Performs 2D and M Mode echocardiography.
• Performs stress echocardiography.
• Performs other outpatient services as needed.
• Prepares and interprets quality studies for physicians.
• Performs all outpatient cardiac testing as ordered by the medical staff.
• Performs non-invasive vascular monitoring.
• Assists with TEE.
