About The Position

The Echo Tech performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. The role calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values from tests for physician review and interpretation, and communicates relevant changes in a patient's clinical condition to physicians, managers, and co-workers during procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

The position is with Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson. The hospital provides advanced care, including trauma, stroke, labor and delivery, cardiology, orthopedics, and emergency medicine services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography School.
• At least 6 months of experience in a clinical setting.
• Registry eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification.
