About The Position

The Early Morning Stocking associate supports store operations by assisting customers, sharing product knowledge, promoting store events and promotions, resolving customer concerns, communicating restocking and service needs to management, and collaborating with the team to meet store and company goals. The position requires weekday availability at 5 a.m. and a flexible schedule that may include day, evening, weekend, or overnight shifts and travel as required. This is a seasonal, hourly position starting at $15.92.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be comfortable using, or willing to learn, computers, cash registers, handheld devices, and mobile devices.
• Good communication skills and ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to handle customer interactions and potential concerns courteously and professionally.
• Basic information-gathering skills for solving problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
• Ability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts; the schedule may also include overnight shifts and travel as required.
• Ability to identify and understand email and printed instructions concerning merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Be available at 5 a.m. on weekdays.
• Greet customers promptly, assist them, and handle multiple customer interactions efficiently.
• Assess customer needs, share product knowledge, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, and make recommendations, including suggestive selling.
• Inform customers about store events, promotions, and special activities.
• Address customer concerns and offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Keep management informed about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company goals and support a positive, productive work environment.
• Operate registers and other technology; move, retrieve, and put away merchandise; and assist customers across the sales floor.
