About The Position

Nordstrom Rack team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. The role involves keeping the store clean and clutter-free, supporting a quick and easy customer experience, and occasionally working in different areas of the store. Seasonal Early Morning Stock roles have a 6 a.m. start time and may be in Sales and Customer Service or Stock Support and Fulfillment. Sales and Customer Service work includes keeping the salesfloor stocked, sized, and presentable; helping customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms; supporting fitting rooms; returning clothing to the salesfloor; organizing stockrooms; and following operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards. Stock Support and Fulfillment work includes receiving and processing merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, using inventory management systems, maintaining organized salesfloors and stockrooms, and providing general store support. The posted hourly pay range is $17.05–$17.75. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching overhead and lifting them.
Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
For Stock Support and Fulfillment roles, ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Keep the salesfloor runway-ready by re-merchandising, straightening, sizing, and replenishing merchandise.
Assist customers with in-store, online, and mobile transactions using point-of-sale systems; bag items and handle bulky or heavy merchandise.
Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
Sort and return clothing to maintain a clean, clutter-free customer experience.
Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
Use store technologies and follow operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver incoming merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly and prepare orders for shipment according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
