About The Position
The Early Morning Baker works in Wegmans’ bakery department, producing and packaging breads, bagels, sweet treats, and other baked goods. The role is part of a fast-moving, people-first team focused on providing customers with fresh bakery products and a positive experience. Shifts start as early as 5 a.m.; morning availability, including weekends, is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities
- Bake, produce, and package baked goods.
- Provide customer service and answer customer questions in a timely manner.
- Keep cases and aisles clean and well-stocked to maintain fresh, appealing displays.
- Follow stocking, rotating, and merchandising techniques to ensure product freshness.
- May help unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with inventory.
