Early Childhood Lead Teacher - Daycare & Preschool
About The Position
The Learning Experience - Worcester is hiring experienced Early Childhood Lead Teachers across our programs. Opportunities may be available in Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms based on your EEC qualifications, experience, preferred age group, and current center needs. This role involves leading an engaging and developmentally appropriate early childhood classroom, creating meaningful experiences through play, exploration, art, music, movement, and hands-on learning, and implementing The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum. The position also supports language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development, establishes positive classroom routines and uses positive guidance, observes children's development and maintains required documentation, mentors and collaborates with Assistant Teachers, builds strong relationships and communicates regularly with families, maintains a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom, and follows Massachusetts EEC requirements.
Requirements
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Lead Teacher
- Professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood experience required
- Infant-Toddler and/or Preschool qualifications welcomed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible, dependable, and passionate about working with young children
Nice To Haves
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
