About The Position

The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Center Director to support its Early Head Start and Head Start programs. This role serves as the lead staff at a multi-class center for children aged birth to five. The Center Director will provide support to staff, address the needs of children and their families, and offer guidance to the program's leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3-5 years of administrative experience in a Head Start Program required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with complex information, giving great attention to detail, & engaging in effective problem-solving.
• Demonstrated proficiency in navigating large databases, report-gathering, and in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Commitment to social justice and the mission of Head Start.
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
• Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.
• ECE must be current on MMR and TDAP immunizations.

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of program evaluation experience preferred.
