About The Position

Early Childhood Behavior Technician (Full-Time or Part-Time) – Ontario, OH SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism. Location: Clinic and/or In-home (Ontario area) Hours & Scheduling: We offer flexible scheduling to fit your life! Shift options include: Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Full Day: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Extended Afternoon/Evening: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Both Part-Time and Full-Time positions are available. Requirements

Previous experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar) is required.
Reliable transportation to travel to the clinic and/or client homes in the Ontario area.
Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we will help you study and cover the cost!).
Successful completion of a background check.

Nice To Haves

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a passion for working with children are also encouraged to apply.
Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course.
Active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Work 1:1 with children in a clinic or in-home setting, actively playing, moving, and engaging to help them meet their goals.
Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills.
Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving.
Build trust with parents through parent training and consistent, upbeat communication.
