In the Americas, the Strategic Advisory Team is comprised of over 300 professionals across the Finance, Energy, Mining, and Corporate Sustainability practices. The Strategic Advisory Americas team is looking for an Early Career Transactional Due Diligence Consultant to join the Finance Advisory - Transactional Due Diligence team in the Americas. Role As our new Consultant, you will assist with the preparation and deliver of advisory services in the financial sector to support our clients in making business decisions associated with mergers and acquisitions, re-capitalizations, divestments, and other compliance and health and safety requirements. You will work on the development and completion of work scopes in conjunction with the client, the preparation of report deliverables, the presentation of findings and the submittal of recommendations to assist in decision-making associated with a broad range of business activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Science, Geology, Chemistry, or related field
  • 0 to 5 years of experience working in a consulting environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; detail oriented
  • Ability to work well independently as well as a part of a team
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn and grow as a consultant
  • Strong communication skills to work with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, uncertain, high-pressure environment with the ability to change directions and scope quickly
  • Undergraduate degree in an engineering, chemistry, science, geology, or other environmental discipline
  • excellent communication and writing skills for the creation of proposals, reports, and other technical documents
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • a relevant educational or employment background and a passion for environmental work

  • Master’s degree a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform Environmental, Health, and Safety assessments, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, regulatory compliance reviews, and other technical reports in support of client work
  • Conduct field data collection, entry, and organization
  • Be responsible for managing and analyzing large and complex datasets
  • Support the preparation of high-quality technical reports and proposals
  • Project coordination
  • Work collaboratively under the mentorship and supervision of senior and intermediate technical staff
