The company is seeking an Early Career Structural Engineer to support its Oak Ridge, TN office. This role involves participating in the design process, assisting in developing design calculations, design drawings, and construction specifications for structures made of steel, concrete, and masonry. The work will support the Oak Ridge, TN office and focus on new design challenges, expanding career skills while contributing to the development of life-changing infrastructure across the United States. Requirements

  • Sole US citizenship required
  • Bachelor's in Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school
  • 0-3+ years of post-education experience
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) certificate obtained or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Ability to follow and implement established quality procedures and ensure that all work accomplished is procedurally compliant
  • Competence using Microsoft Office software
  • Reside within commutable distance of our Oak Ridge, TN office
  • Ability to learn new software as necessary for project success
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
  • Must put forward professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard for the employee or others
  • Must take and pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, or MicroStation software
