About The Position

Eaton’s Early Career Leadership Development Program – Information Technology is for early-career professionals who want to apply technology to business challenges. Participants explore how data, AI, digital tools, and connected systems help teams make better decisions, improve workflows, and enhance manufacturing and delivery. The program offers hands-on experience at manufacturing sites, direct exposure to business and technology leaders, and opportunities to contribute to Eaton’s digital growth. Participants complete three manufacturing- or business-based rotations, with one to two relocations expected. The rotations are designed to build business understanding, practical solution-delivery experience, and the ability to lead technology-enabled change. In the first rotation, participants learn how products are made and information flows, map processes, identify pain points, and recommend improvements. In the second, they help deliver a digital, data, AI, or application solution. In the third, they own implementation of a digital initiative for a manufacturing site or functional team, aligning stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes. Graduates may pursue leadership-track roles such as System/Business Analyst, Data Engineer, or Site Integration roles. Longer-term paths may include IT Product Owner, Program Manager, or System Leader. The role may involve travel up to 25% locally and/or internationally, as determined by the Information Technology assignment manager, and requires geographic flexibility to relocate within the United States during and after the program.
