Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with a professional outlook and delivery.
  • Ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
  • Personal accountability, which pushes you to take pride in putting your best foot forward every day.
  • Ability to manage multiple mailboxes and applications.
  • Self-driven and capable of being independent while knowing that your Bauer team is here to support you.
  • Strong TEAM focus and an understanding that no one can achieve a greater goal alone without the help of others.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, you have referred to spreadsheets/data sheets to pick out required information.

Nice To Haves

  • A post-secondary college certificate or diploma is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hockey products is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
  • Proficiency in Gladly or a similar CRM system.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP software.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging in consumer-facing conversation exchanges through calls, chats, and emails from English and French speaking customers regarding product and service inquiries, within service level standards.
  • Assisting with e-commerce transactions.
  • Processing replacement orders.
  • Processing shortages and substitutions with follow-up communication.
  • Investigating missing or lost packages, while liaising with logistics and individual carriers to resolve delivery discrepancies.
  • Identifying issues and managing or processing warranty claims in accordance with policy for individual consumers and retail partners, offering equivalent substitution options as necessary.
  • Handling escalations in a calm manner, engaging the manager as suitable.
  • Identifying and processing parts replacements and shipments.
  • Maintaining product and systems knowledge through internal training and educational sessions.
  • Communicating with teammates and liaising with internal departments as needed.
